Brunson Elementary School - Summer Reading and Math

It is important that you read and practice your math skills over the summer to ensure you are ready for next school year.  Your summer reading and summer math assignments are included with your report card.  A link is also available on the school’s website.

• Complete your summer reading and math packets.
• The packets include skills your child learned this year.  They should be able to complete them independently, but parents are encouraged to check over the student’s work.
• First through sixth grade students will get a 100 in the grade book for each subject (math and ELA) for completing your summer work. 
• Students that complete all summer work will enjoy an extra recess and a popsicle!
• All summer work is due by August 13. 
• Rising 1^st-3^rd grade students: Practice your sight words!!!
